I'm upgrading my mainboard from a GeForce FX 5200 to Geforce FX 6200 so I can have dual monitor support. I can empty my AGP slot by removing the GeForce 5200 or I can use an empty PCI slot and keep my old GeForce FX 5200 in the AGP slot. What should I do?
I will do casual gaming and trading in stock market.
My mainboard doesn't support PCI-Express slots.
Is it better to have two video cards installed?
Is AGP much faster than PCI ?
What does Windows do when you have *two* video cards in one system?

I'm still writing it, so it hasn't been edited. Is it alright though. If it's not your style, don't automatically put it down, alright. Just, tell me what to improve with my writing, please.
“It’s good to be home,” The blonde haired soldier said proudly, starring up at the quiet old bakery, “Hasn’t changed much, even after all these years, eh Davey?”
“From the outside, maybe,” David muttered, starring into the greasy, dirt covered window, “War will change the best of us.” He stepped forward, grasping the wooden door handle-
“Wait,” His other, Chase, whispered, grabbing on to his wrist, “you aren’t worried about my father, are you?”
Losing eye contact, David pulled the door open, jerking his arm from Chase’s grip, “It’s not him I’m worried about, Chase.”
The bakery gave off a sweet smell; the smell of cinnamon apple pie. As the two soldiers closed the door, they were engulfed by warmth, and a strong feeling of comfort, “Home...” Chase whispered, smiling, “CAT!” He shouted.
David looked around, expecting a familiar red head to appear behind the glass counter: but there was no one in the front room. The counter had many little cakes and loafs displayed, and left out; still in its tray, was the cinnamon apple pie they smelt the moment they opened the door. However, as welcoming as the shop was, David felt empty, like something was missing. Or someone.
“Where’s Caitlyn? They knew we were coming home today,” David said, looking out the window. It was a mild Tuesday, thick with fog and mist. A great day to stay inside, which is what appeared to be happening, as there were not many people out in the market. He realized Chase was watching him, “It’s just, I haven’t seen her for four years.”
Chase smiled, “You can’t possibly have a crush on my sister, can you?”
David starred intently on a child holding his mothers hand as they crossed the street, heading towards the post office, where he guessed they would mail their father, who was probably still signed with the army. Not many had been sent home so early, however, Chase and David were one of the first men to fight in Germany. They deserved their time out; after all they’d gone through. David sighed.
“She was fourteen-“Chase said, “She’s too young for you, David. And no offense, but you’re my best mate, I never thought it was right... you and her.”
“Who are you talking about?” A soft voice said from the doorway, “it couldn’t possibly be me, could it?”
“Oh, not at all, baby sister.” Chase ran up to the petite red head, picked her up, and filled her face with kisses, “I missed you.”
Squeezing back, she said, “I missed you more, Jerk.” The pair laughed.
“Where’s Dad?” Chase asked, noticing the embarrassed look on David’s face, “Has he been treating you right? You can tell me...”
The look of innocence left Caitlyn’s bright green eyes, replaced by a hard, cold stare, “Chase,” the eyes began to fill with tears, “he’s getting worse everyday.”

1.) How the Job market is. I work at a smaller hotel as the front desk manager. Will it be hard finding a decent paying job?
2.) How long dose it take to become a resident and be able to start school as a resident?
3.) I hear Ga is a dog friendly state. Is this true, do most place allow pets? I have a Lab who is about 102lbs.

Is there a point to life? other than suffer humiliating defeats day after day? last janurary i decided to forgo college beacuse i couldn't pay for it anymore and dind't want to put my mother in a hole of debt to get a job. Now its janurary of 09 and here i am with no full time job. in this span, i had 1 paid interview and 3 other interviews and i say i did pretty damn good on them, im confident, i look good, but i did not land the job, one lost my drug test, the others just didn't care they sent post cards saying we cannot hire you.this is just unaccecptable, i have people looking at me like im a damn loser beacuse i went job hunting in janurary of 08 and its janurary of 09 and i'm unemployed. But hey atleast the army is always looking for people right? ok so in october of 08 i decide to hell with it, im tired of taking the train, walking from Maryland to DC putting in Apps, and doing my best to end up no better than a failure. the damn economy isen't that bad as to where fast food takes one look at me in my suit and says we aren't hiring...i just get so sick of this life, everyone else prances around ohhh i got a job, no screw you i should get one to i have qualifications and references. and it makes me mad, i'm in church one day and they are giving testamonies about peoples lives and up comes this ex crackhead who said he's been to jail multiple times and has a record as long as his arm and he says "thank God for my new life, i now work as a bus driver for metro" how in the hell? now how in the hell does this happen? i have no criminal record, no drug record, no arrest, have references, and have 7 years studio equipment and radio experince and get pass over in jobs by a damn crackhead? as you can tell i'm pretty pissed at the moment, that i am sitting her trying my ass off to get employment anywhere, ranging from bus boy to insurance and no one will hire me...no i'm not this vindictive on a regular basis, i smile im open and all that crap and for my efforts i have been shunned by the job market and forced to live at home with my parents like a retard, with no job to speak of, other than my army recruitment right now, which is taking God knows how long. i'm so pissed at people who have jobs right now, no one has tried harder than me, no one is walking from city to city looking and walking back feet have blisters, heart hurts, face full of sweat and the will to get back up everytime he's knocked down but me. but what the hell does this mean? nothing...i have jack s*** to show for it.....i seriously just right now want to go kill people who have jobs, or go rob someone beacuse this sh** its totally unfair i can't change my life....

I'm curious from a finance/accountant's viewpoint on getting both investment vehicles at a time(now) where the economy is in the dump. Would it be wise to wait later on when the market starts to have a better upward trend or just do the bare minimum to fulfill requirements on both investments? I'm quite aware of the compounding interest/time value of money involved but my hesitation rests on the fact that I could really use the money now to put down on a new house. in the next few months. So in short, the question is not whether I should have these investments, its a matter of WHEN should I start them. Some other factors about myself if relevant, I am 27, married, don't plan on having kids anytime soon, no debt, had a 401k last year but no longer have one currently due to transition of jobs.

| • It's Freezing Cold in our house...I am getting Pella Replacement windows? |

My wife and I along with our 3 kids (ages 5, 3, and 1) live in the Chicagoland area. Our house was built in 1993. It's a 2 story home with attached garage. The darn house is always cold in the winter and always hot in the summer. All the windows and back door are sliders and have aluminum frames. There are 9 windows and 5 of them are oversized. The drafts inbetween the sliders in incredible. My kids room is the worst, it's an icebox in their room. The house house is cold and it's the middle of a bad winter. I just bought new Pella windows for the upstairs. I also bought one a new front family room window. The cost to buy and install all 4 windows was $3000.00. Two of the windows are about 8 feet long. I will replace 4 more sindows at about $2500.00 later on in the year, I just want to get the upstairs done for now. The estimate is pretty cheap considering the 2 others i received.
My question is the house we live in is in a subdivision, the housing market is bad, and if we plan on moving in about 5 years is this a bad investment? We were going to get a new roof too, but a realtor told me know one cares if a roof is new or not and will not add or increase value b/c every home has to have a roof. I am starting to feel remorseful about the windows but I want to be comfortable and our house just got a new furnance 6 months ago and I don't want that to get overworked with always being on.

I was just interviewed for a position as a Marketing Coordinator for in-home care services. I've been in not-for-profit the past 10 yrs and am used to little salary. The interviewer asked me what my salary expectations were so I just answerd that right now I made in the lower 30's, but I would have to research this position. OK,
So I have a problem. I own a marketing company and we're trying to let some employees work from different locations (AKA outside of my network). I have a server hooked up to my network. It's more like a shared hard drive then a server. I have about 300 gigs of artwork on there (we create websites and marketing materials). Each file is about 100mb's.
So I need for my graphic artists to be able to access my "server" and download files from remote locations, while the in-house artists can access the server at all times (not by downloading). Is there a simple, secure way to do this?
I have spoken with a couple companies, but all they can offer are online dedicated servers. That means that all of my in-house people would have to download a file every-time that they need it instead of just having instant access. The download is fine for remote access users. I know that there has to be some way to do this. Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks!

As for spending, the GOP controlled 1 or both houses of Congress for 6 of the last 8 years.
Bush could have vetoed any of those pork-laden congressional spending bills and sent them back for reworking.
White House watching: Bush increased the debt by $5,600,000,000,000 (eg: trillion for those who can't count) under his watch when the economy was in good shape.
I don't necessarily agree with Obama's plan, but where were the neocons complaining about govt. spending when the GOP controlled the House, Senate, and Presidency from 2002-2006?
Pfo: I agree that both parties are spending us into oblivion, but for the neocons to complain now when the economy is in the sh!tter, is absolutely ridiculous.
Also the $1.2 trillion deficit projected for FY 2009 is based on Bush's budget submitted in 2008.
Obama will be able to rework some of it, but it will be mostly Bush.
