•  Process of going Active duty from National Guard?
hey y'all.. My hubby Ets'd out of Active duty back in May after serving almost 6 years and two tours in Iraq. He then joined the National Guard in August, but has yet to receive his enlistment bonus because they have not yet found a spot for him in a re class training, since he changed his mos to 11b so that his drills would be somewhat nearby. Now we have decided that at the end of february we will go back to active duty and stay at his current mos 19d. The only thing i am worried about is where he wants to be stationed.. Fort Lewis. which isn't a problem with me but is it possible his request to be approved??. now ive been told that since he will be re enlisting , the army will probably allow him to go where he wants.??? Also I start the spring semester of college next week and the semester doesn't end until the beginning of May. How long does the process of going from National guard to Active Duty take with prior service as active duty? Also the unit he would like to go to , in fort lewis, is set to deploy late this year, which we have also discussed. Will the army have reservations about letting him re enlist and go to a unit that's set to deploy soon?? Also his NG unit is not set to deploy anytime soon, no orders or anything. Sorry i know this is pretty long but any suggestions/advice or knowledge about this would be very much appreciated!!!

i have been divorced for one year after 18 years of marriage. my teens, girl 14 boy 17, have been supportive and understand why i divorced their dad. there was no infidelity, no reason for dissension between us and we have a good ex relationship. i recently started dating a man ive known for some time. my kids have always liked him and he has always liked my kids. now that he is coming over to the house, hanging out with all of us more, both my kids and my beau say they are uncomfortable around each other. we all understand they new man is not there to take the place of my kids dad. yet when we are all together everyone is silent. no one talks, not even small talk. the kids get an attitude and eventually leave the room. my beau has expressed concern that they don't like him. the tension is real and thick. what do i do? why are my teens acting out? why is my new man uncomfortable around my kids?

•  What does it mean when someone has a death wish?
I think that term death wish came from people doing suicidal actions for reasons they strongly believed in regardless of who it hurt. People killing themselves because they believe they'll be rewarded for it (suicide bombers, kamikazes, etc.), but I really don't know. I think it could be said that every human has a death wish at some point because we all get depressed when things go wrong. We don't all complain but we all feel sad and some people feel like they should just die because everything goes wrong around them. If they die they won't have to deal with it anymore like everything is their fault. That is how I feel sometimes: any bit of criticism or feelings of not meeting expectations drives me up the wall but rather than be vocal about it I am very private and say them to myself in tears alone because I know no one can snap their hands and zap the problem away so I just tell myself I deserve to suffer whatever comes my way.

I am married for four months now. My courtship period lasted for 6 months. It is a perfect arrange marriage. All looked perfect in the starting of our courtship period, but then I started feeling that my fiancee does not love me. I felt she gave more time to others than to me. With time this feeling deepened, and after marriage it became worse. I wanted a married life with lot of intimacy, but she is opposite to this. My feeling that she does not love me increased even more and reached higher levels. I don't see any excitement in her for myself, and this leads to self-frustration. I feel myself as a dummy person to fill the position of "husband" in her life. I try talking to her and give her ample time, but her reactions are on the opposite side. She dont talk much and at times I felt as if she is hiding things from me. Physical relationship wise, it is even worse. When I try to push for things, she says she is not mentally prepared for all this. We never made love in 4 months of our marriage, not even on our honeymoon. With all this I feel defeated and rejected. We had a talk about all this, she listens and we have a hot discussion. Things remain the same. Please guide me how do ignite fire in our low love relationship. I have tried everything, helping her in household gifts, taking her out on dates, giving gifts, and talking every damn thing on this earth with her. Please help me what to do to make her love me.

•  Can my face become fuller if I gain weight?
I'm 20-years-old, male, on the dot 180cm tall (5'11") and I currently weigh 10 or maximum 10.2 stones. I work out (sometimes) in a gym and I don't think my body looks that skinny, just slim. However my face looks somewhat empty , at least I think it does. If I gained weight would it be realistic to think that I would gain weight in my face/cheeks? Rockets are still being fired to towns further than 45 Km from gaza, like Be'er seb'a. and second, If we say israel will completely destroy hamas foundations in gaza, which I strongly doubt because such thing could not be reached in Lebanon and hizbollah, and we still see Nasrallah vowing a hard response to any threat, what would the next destination be? Iran or Lebanon? Here I would like to note some of my experiences in IRAN. I've been working in Iran for 3 years, although I'm American, but I was warmly welcomed by people and the government did no harm to me, despite all the bullsh!t we hear on the media!!! And if ISrael is going to attack Iran, I would say that's really really INSANE, because the iranian nation, especially the young men, do strongly hate israel and u know, they have a leader called Imam hossein, who inspires them a lot, and people try to follow his path, which is RESISTANCE. So if a war is going to take place, The whole middle east is to burnt and destroyed, coz the iranian response would be a real shock. I'm praying for peace all over the world. Please, as an israeli citizen try to stop ur government from thinking of war against iran. that would be costy for all of us. And BTW, do you support israel if she wants to attack Iran or Lebanon?

I'm not in a position to go to a doctor, and I'm not in that much pain (until I start walking). I'm 31 and in good shape, so I'm not a frail person. The knot is right above the right cheek of my behind. The spot is sore to the touch, and it hurts when I move my leg. I get a slight amount of radiating pain down my right leg. I'm sure I'll be sore for days, but did I break anything? I know you can't diagnose, so I'll take your best guess. Isn't the pelvis pretty hard to break?

Ok I got Laid off work on Dec22 08 :( Just before Christmas they said it wasn't a lay off that we would be called back in jan around the 16 and sent us all to the unemployment ok well i went and done that and have ended up there four times we are in a motel and are about to have to leave with know place to go well my claim says i have 4,356 on it but when i just checked it it says i have 000.and says our records indicates there in no decision pending on your claim ??? what does this mean?? it also says our records show you have served your waiting period week !well we know that as its been three weeks!the records show that i have money there to cover my time off work so whats the deal ?? can anyone tell me and should I go talk to an attorney?I'm very worried as we are in a Miotel and Could be asked to leave we have NO money thanks to this Thanks for your fast Response to this question ?
•  I need a wireless replacement for my Ethernet cord (other then a router)?
I live on campus, and we are not allowed to run the dorm Ethernet through a router (if a wireless network is detected in the dorms, they go door to door and find whose it is, and disable their internet for a certain period of time). Is there any sort of wireless solution that would substitute for my ethernet cord, that only I could use (as to not get in trouble). I'm thinking someththing that plugs into my ethernet port, and something that plugs into the Ethernet outlet in the wall. I would like to use my laptop around the dorm without being tethered down, but the wireless can't be detected by anyone else. Thanks
•  Do you think I should give her Mother money?
I am asking this on behalf of my husband .His daughter lives with us and sees her mum three nights a week, on a Wednesday he takes her to her mums at 4pm and picks her up for school the next morning at 7.30am, He then drops her to her mums again on friday night at 7.30pm and picks her up at 3pm sunday. Her mother thinks we should be giving her money for looking after thier daughter. We buy everything his daughter needs clothes, food,toys,after school clubs, school trips, basically we fully support his daughter financially and do the day to day task that parents do like school runs, baths, pack lunch ETC.. everyday. Her mother has never done any of these things. We receive child /working tax credits and child benefit we already know that we do not legally have to give her a penny if anything she would have to pay us £5 a week out of her income support.Personally I don't think we should give her any money and do not have any intention of asking her for money. She has said she will give him parental responsibility if we give her money and stop court proceedings (that we brought to get parental responsibility and one weekend a month access) Do you think we are being fair?

here's the story: one of my 15 year old friends is in a lot of trouble. her mom left home and she's left to look after her 7 year old brother (making dinner, laundry, taking care of him when he's sick, walking to pick him up from school etc.), her dad is working two jobs to support them now at night and most of the day so he's never there, and her older 17 year old brother has mental problems right now from everything that's going on and can't help her. her mom comes in regularly now (she must have a key, still), to physically abuse her. the mom sometimes abuses the older brother but not nearly as much as my friend. when her mom does come in her dad is not home. my friend doesn't want to tell her dad because she knows how much stress he is under with his jobs right now. what should i do?!?!

•  Unfair passport picture requirements. Does it annoy anyone else?
I had one done before getting my application for a driving license. I then read that you shouldn't have hair across your eyes but I have a side fringe which is slightly but not covering my right one. Then, the bottom bullet point says not to wear a hat or head covering unless its for a religious reason!!! I'm so sick of all of that because i got mine sent back for my passport picture just because of some fringe. Its flipin England, a head scarf surely will make a person look alot different compared to someone with a SMALL bit of fringe in there face with there eyes still showing and other distinctive features. I'm a catholic, surely I could have a reason too :) Don't call my racist, I'm just really annoyed.

Hello for the past month I have started exercising everyday and started on a healthy diet. I used to weigh 156 pounds and I was'nt happy with the way I look...My body shape is fine it's just I have flubber (fat) in my stomach, upper thighs and buttoks. And I would like to see that all be toned out and flatten. I used to be skinny when I was in elementry school but then after puberty fat started to build up and every time I would tell myself ok I need to exercise and lose weight NOW before I get older and it is harder to lose! I am currently 19 and weigh 135 now that I am exercising daily and eatting healthy. Now that I have lost almost 25 pounds I really don't see a difference in my body...I still have this yucky fat and bulge. This is what I do daily: 30 minute jog/walk on the treadmill (jogging speed is 4.5 and walk is 3.0) 50 reps crunches 100 jumping jacks on the mini trampoline 10 arm curls on each arm (12 pound dumbells) 10 arm raises on each arm (12 pound) 10 lunges on each leg (12 pound) 10 toe raises? (I think that is what they are called) Some streches that I forget the names of them. Is there anyone out there that has done some exercises that really work on your abs (stomach) and legs and butt. For some reason I have been doing this for a month and see no results....also I have'nt been losing weight anymore I just stay in the 136 to 135 range...it sucks. Thank you for your help!

My husband and I had some problems last year at this time. Why is it that its so hard for me to get over this. •  Why does my dog wait to pee inside the house?
I got our Schnoodle puppy about nine weeks ago. The housebreaking went fairly well with a pee or poo incident every few days. Although, I'm not satisfied that she's fully housebroken. I've recently started letting her outside a majority of the day since she is familiar with her home and surroundings, and she is thrilled! However, now, when she comes inside after extended periods of outdoor time, she pees on the floor when I'm not looking. She knows she's done something wrong, as she cowers and drops her head and shoulders once I discover the pee spot. Any help out there, suggestions or advice? I can't rationalize why she wants to pee inside just after she's been outside for an hour. HELP!

•  Advice on handling an uncomfortable situation?
My best friend and I have an odd situation...In the past, we have both been with the other's partner (though not in the context of the relationship & it was two years back). The best friend, her boyfriend and I are all terrific friends and despite the past, no one really seems to care all that much. My boyfriend however, cannot seem to get over it. He states that the other boyfriend is not welcome in our home ever, even when he is not there. Being that I certainly pay my portion of the rent & do not tell him who he can be friends with--it seems wholly unreasonable and controlling that he should act this way. He constantly makes threats to do the other guy harm and it just seems so immature. He asked that we arrange a dinner meeting so all four of us could meet and the two could talk--I guess he wanted to give a piece of his mind. Not surprisingly, my BF and her boyfriend declined. I don't know how to resolve this issue without losing two very important friends or my boyfriend! I really want to start using MAC color (i.e.eye shadows,lip color and cheek color-I'm good on everything else) but I don't have a MAC counter where I live, so I wanted to order on-line. Does any one have any suggestions for what colors to buy? I have dark brown hair, fair to medium color skin with pink undertones, and blue eyes. I'm looking for some eye shadows for a smoky eye and then some eye shadow colors for everyday wear. I usually like pink blushes and nude or pink nude lipstick, glosses and liners. I really don't want to. For the past few months my periods have been weird. Two a month, skip a month, have one, get off it for a week and it comes back. That sort of thing. I will most likely get either Bet or Charley. •  Colors for a wedding?
I'm getting married on my Uncle's ranch in Texas in May. I'm a hard core Texas girl myself, and I'm dying to have bluebonnets in my wedding. Although my Uncle's ranch is always overrun with bluebonnets in the Spring, I'm sticking with silk flowers to not have to worry about real ones. I was thinking about getting red, white and blue star-topped tulle stands with white tulle netting and blue ribbon. I was going to have a few red roses thrown in with my bluebonnets and white Calla lillies (or some other flower, a white one, I just haven't decided yet what would go in a bouquet with bluebonnets) but just a hint of red, my main colors will be blue and white. Does that seem like a little much? Like... a little too patriotic for a wedding? Also, any pointers for having an outdoor wedding along the San Marcos River? I've just barely started planning, but I do know I want a pretty simple light dress because I've lived in Texas long enough to know that summers can be miserable. I appreciate all your help!

I have been siding with Israel naturally because of how the media has portrayed Palestine. Recently, I did some research and realized that the United States wrongfully took away their land, forced the Palestinians to move, and then ask for them to live in peace with the newcomers (Israelis). Now, I think Palestine has every right to be p*ssed off. Why didn't the United Nations aka United States, cut away part of OUR massive land to give to the Jews, or give them part of Germany? Israel is wrong to say "this is our holy land" because no matter what, fact says Palestine was there prior establishment of Israel. You can't just cut out the land because your holy book says its yours. We would be upset too if someone came in and forced people to move, then establish a new nation in our land. Anyways, both sides continue attacking each other over and over. The violence will never stop. Obama won't be able to stop this either. What is your take on this?

•  Confuusing situation - LONG, Please help me figure this out!??!?
Well, this is going to be extremely long and I do apologize for that. Well, to begin. 4 years ago I started dating this guy, we were everything for eachother. We were not only bestfriends but we were soulmates, lovers. We would spend a lot of time together and he'd call me just to tell me he loved me and everyone was always discussing how we were sure to be together forever. Anyways, after a year we broke up. It was mutual but it was over something very immature, and rather ridiculous. Basically we broke up because it was our anniversary and we had plans to go out that night. He was going to take me for dinner and he told me all about this beautiful night he had planned. Soon enough I get a phonecall that day around 5:00, we're supposed to go for dinner at 7, and he tells me that he's going to go to a going away party for his friend (who he would always kinda flirt with but I always took it as nothing - yet i still didn't really like her) instead of spending the night with me. Now, normally I am not the jealous type and I would shake it off but it was our anniversary and he totally gave me no time to make any other plans and I was really hurt by it. Not to mention, he didn't even ask me if I wanted to come along! Anyways, bitterness aside. Basically, after that "breakup" we still ended up acting like we were dating without the title. We still went out on dates, went to the beach we would cuddle and hookup and he'd still call me and I would still call him all the time. I do realize it was unhealthy and still is unhealthy for me to do this. The way we act now has never ended, we've both had random boyfriends and girlfriends in between but nothing ever lasted and we always end up with eachother. Last time I saw him and his family his mother told me how she knows we'll marry because she can "tell". I don't want to love someone who will never commit to me fully. I am so hurt because he says that he can't do commitment and he ahs told our mutual bestfriend that "the reason we aren't dating is because if i date her i'll end up marrying her". (This comment was made on newyears eve). Also, he always tells me he "loves me to death". I know I'm in love with him and that's not what I'm asking, but I just want to be with him, how do I tell him that? should I try walking away and waiting for him to come back to me? I'm just so lost and feel like I can't live without him. OH and I almost forgot to mention: When we're ALONE he acts like we're dating etc. but as soon as his guy friends are there he'll act a lot different, like we're still friends but not as close. I have confronted him on this and he says he doesn't think it's fair to give people the "wrong idea". aggh. I'm sick of being stuck in this rut. What should I do?
•  Rock Band for PS3, says to update but will not work (black screen) HELP!?
I received an 80GB PS3 for Christmas. My parents also gave me their working copy of Rock Band and a new copy of Rock Band 2. I had no problems installing the updates for Rock Band 2. However, when I insert the original Rock Band, it says "The latest update data for this software has been found. To sign in and use this software, you must update the software to the latest version." I then click the "X" button for OK. The screen then goes black and after a few seconds there is a beeping sound hear from the actual PS unit. I decided to go about my business and just allow it to do whatever it was going to do.. After about five minutes, it appeared as though the game was going to load, but then sent me right back to the "Update software" screen. After hitting the X button again, it did the same thing. Black screen, beep, then just stayed black for the next several hours, never doing anything. I tried to restart the Playstation, eject the game, and try again, but it did the same thing. Any ideas on what I can do? I know for a fact that the game works (it has no scratches and was played by my parents the day before giving it to me.) Any ideas on what to do? I've tried to Google it and haven't gotten a real clear answer on what I need to do. Any help is appreciated. THANKS!
•  In Ultima Online Second Age, how do I make standard fletcher's tools?
I love this game, but I'm so brand new to it! I need people who can seriously answer this question! I have a tinkerer currently at 50.2 so I was hoping to be able to make the tools myself for my other character who is a carpenter... I really need those tools! If I can't make them, where can I purchase them from? Any help would be much appreciated!
